Imagine having to face the abuse of one’s parents every day till one day, you cannot take it anymore. So what do you do? You run and run and never look back. But right now, you suddenly realise that you have nowhere to go to.
Sad and grim but true. That might be how a young boy in Kalimantan Barat felt after running away from his abusive parents. He was found sleeping on the floor, without realising that he was drenched by rain water.
As mention in a tweet, the boy ran away because he could not handle being abused anymore. All he wanted was to escape from the torture he faced every day. Fortunately, the boy was found by good samaritans who took him to the police to be saved. If he was picked up by bad people, who knows what will happen to him.

Sadly, this is actually a reality faced by a lot of children and women. Abuse is somehow a norm now and we need to figure out how to stop it. What do you think is the cause of the sudden rise in abuse cases? Share with us your thoughts in the comment section.
