This is a really outrageous and horrible thing to happen to a young teen! Recently, a 13-year-old girl from Taiping, Perak was reportedly gang-raped on three separate occasions by 11 youths around her age.
According to Malay Mail, district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Taib said that the first time it happened was on September 18. On that day, she was with another female friend and they were at the Taiping Lake Gardens when two other teenagers picked them up on motorcycles at around 11am. They were allegedly skipping school.
They took both girls to one of their homes in Kamunting, a 10-minute drive away. “Upon reaching the place, the victim was raped by the two teenagers and another friend at the home,” ACP Mohamad Taib said. The following day (September 19), the victim was once again taken to the same house but this time she was raped by another eight youths. WTF!
As if that wasn’t enough, she said that she saw one of the suspects record the incident with his mobile phone. Six days later, on September 25, three teenage boys took turns to rape her again at another location in Taman Tekkah Permai in Aulong.
The victim told a teacher about the ordeal she had experienced and was advised to make a police report. She lodged a report on Wednesday morning (September 26) and the police immediately sprang to action. In a press conference yesterday (September 27), ACP Mohamad Taib said that they had identified and arrested nine teenagers aged 15 to 17 on Wednesday between 9pm and 11pm.
It was reported that three of the initial suspects had previous criminal records related to rape cases, injuring others and sexual offences against children. Four of the arrested suspects are still studying and all nine of them will be remanded until October 2.
Currently, the case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape. The police said that they are still hunting for another two suspects who are still free as well as the victim’s friend.
Hopefully, justice will be served to those rapists!
