2 Drunk Men Arrested After Insulting Abang Polis, Punching His Face & Biting His Chest at Penang PDRM HQ

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has arrested two young men who hurled insults at a policeman, punched his face and bit his chest at the Penang Police Headquarters (IPK) in George Town, Penang, at about 4.30pm on Monday (23 June).

The suspects, aged 19 and 20, respectively, were believed to be in an intoxicated state during the incident and have since been remanded for 3 days to assist with the investigation.

According to Kosmo!, the two suspects were stopped by the victim in front of the Penang IPK for acting suspiciously.

Timur Laut District Police Chief ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad, in a statement, said that the victim then brought the suspects to the security post of Penang IPK to interrogate them.

There, the suspects turned aggressive by punching the policeman on his cheeks and biting his chest, resulting in a swollen left eye and bruises on his chest.

Not only that, the suspects also hurled insults at the policeman during the incident, before they were both arrested.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 322 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955 for insulting behaviour.
