“Universities have a responsibility not only to educate, but to work together to address the complex challenges facing our societies. The Triple Alliance demonstrates what is possible when leading institutions unite around a shared purpose. By combining our complementary strengths, we can broaden opportunities for our students, accelerate research and deepen our engagement with industry, government and communities.

Together, we are helping position Malaysia as a globally recognised hub for education, innovation and talent development,” said Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman, President and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Monash University Malaysia.

Professor Barry Winn, Vice-Chancellor and President of Taylor’s University, said the alliance represents a shared ambition to create impact beyond individual campuses. As an institution that has shaped learners and leaders for nearly six decades and nurtured a global community of more than 100,000 alumni, Taylor’s understands the power of partnership in creating lasting impact.

Through our Impact Labs, we bring together academics, students, and  industry communities to address real-world challenges and create solutions that matter. The Triple Alliance builds on this same belief that meaningful change happens when diverse strengths come together.

By combining our expertise, we can create new opportunities for learning, research and innovation that benefit our students, our communities and the nation, while contributing to Malaysia’s aspirations to be a leading centre for education, innovation and  knowledge creation.”
