Well, this is shocking!
In case you didn’t know already, just yesterday (October 8), a video went viral on social media, showing seven policemen having the time of their lives at an entertainment outlet with someone who is allegedly the boss of a gambling den. Uh oh!

The incident reportedly happened in Muar, Johor and has drawn outrage from netizens, which quickly caught the police’s attention. According to The Star, Bukit Aman police have already launched an investigation into this matter and identified the people in the video.
Apparently in the video, the policemen were seen having fun singing, dancing and drinking with some other people there as well. The police said that they have managed to identify the seven policemen in the video as an inspector, a corporal, four lance corporals, and a detective corporal.

It was reported that the inspector is from the Pagoh police station while the lance corporal and detective corporal are reportedly from the Secret Society, Gaming and Vice Division (D7). Another corporal and three lance corporals are from a task force in Muar.
The video was posted by a netizen with the title, “Policemen enjoying themselves at nightclub with boss of illegal gambling den”. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said that they are viewing the matter seriously and waiting for a full report from the Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader.

“A thorough investigation will be conducted and action will be taken if the policemen have breached the law,” he told Bernama.
The Johor police have since released a press statement on their Facebook page clarifying that they will take strict action against the involved police if any wrongdoing is found. They also said that they would not compromise if there is any disciplinary breach.
In the latest development, it has been confirmed that six of the policemen will be transferred to other departments immediately.
