The country is definitely currently going through a Beyblade craze right now. Although the toy has been around since the early 2000s, it has become a trend again as kids all over the country can be heard pestering their parents to buy them one.
From accessories to stickers, everything about Beyblade is selling like hotcakes. Taking advantage of this craze, a talented 8-year-old kid decided to use his resources at home to make some money on the side.
So young, so business-minded!
Equipped with a laptop, a printer and some knowledge of graphic design, he adapts any Beyblade designs he finds online, prints them, and sell them off in school.
He went viral after his uncle decided to tweet a video of his little business on 19 July. He explained that there were two sizes of artwork being sold — a small one sells for RM3 while the big one goes for RM6.
The uncle even shared that his nephew has managed to have a save over RM3,000 in his Amanah Saham account (that’s more than the average Malaysian yo). What an achievement for a primary school student!

Some netizens were concerned that the boy could be committing plagiarism based on his artwork. While those fears are valid, other’s hoped that his uncle could communicate these issues to the kid in a way that he could understand.
U’ve got the point. But plz lower down ur nasihat to kids level keyh. He’s juz a boy yg xpaham pn ape tu unethical. Jgn lh nasihat mcm nasihat to adults. Eventhough nasihat tu is thru his uncle, but the msg is to the boy.

Kudos to the young boy who has combined his creativity and entrepreneurship skills to make some money on the side. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him!
