They say, there is a little animal companion for every person in the world.
And a great example of that is a little deaf puppy that found it’s forever home.
Nick, who is also deaf, fell in love with little Emerson in the first 2 seconds of their first meet up, after the 6-week-old black Labrador mix puppy made a b-line straight for Nick and sat at his feet, as according to The Epoch Times.
Despite their disability, Nick and Emerson are making the most of their time together with Nick teaching Emerson sign language!
The poor little puppy had previously suffered from seizures and a canine parvovirus infection, which caused him to be held back from being adopted for some time. Thankfully, the strong little guy healed and managed to find himself a forever home in Nick, who has already taught Emerson how to sit, lie down and come by just signing.
“If Nick reaches up and shakes his ear lobe, Emerson would bark – it’s so cute,” said Richelle, Nick’s mother, adding that they were meant for each other.
Thanks to their instant fame on Instagram, hitting over 30,000 followers since releasing their joint account, the duo has also released a children’s book titled ‘I Picked Him: A Nick and Emerson Story’.
We can’t wait to see what new adventures this adorable duo will go on next!
Be right back, going to adopt a puppy. #AdoptDon’tShop
