This pre-school exercise has taken the internet by storm!
This exercise of which the source is unknown started appearing everywhere on the Internet for these past few days. Naturally, people on the Internet were genuinely confused and did not understand what they were supposed to do. Like are we supposed to find the shape of a nose or what?
Finally, someone on Twitter debunked it!
So we have to match the shape of the word with the shape of the box!
But what’s the whole point of this though?
When they revealed the solution, many were asking what is the point of this exercise and how does it help a pre-schooler?
Well, it turns out that this is actually a very useful exercise for pre-schoolers as they are still learning how to write letters A-Z. So this exercise will instill in them that letters b,d,f,h,k are longer upwards while letters g, j, p, q, y are longer downwards.
Another user, Melur says that this kind of exercise is called word recognition.
Hmmm, now I understand why I can read this!
But this also means that I’m not special la… haih…
So what do you guys think of exercises like this in children workbooks? Tell us in the comments!
