Around 3,000 People Queue Under The Hot Sun For Tesla Malaysia’s Interview

On 17 May 2023, Tesla Malaysia had its open recruitment day in Cyberjaya. Although the recruitment was set starting 12pm to 4pm, interviewees are already queuing up starting 8am in the morning.

By 12pm noon, there were already approximately 3,000 people who waited in line for the interview, according to Sin Chew Daily. Pictures from Kwong Wah Yit Poh also show interviewees queuing under the hot sun despite the heat.

According to the representative from Tesla Malaysia, the team had given out water and ice cream to interviewees who queued under the heat for hours.

Earlier, Tesla Malaysia posted on its official website and LinkedIn that it is now hiring employees for full-time jobs that are mainly based in Kuala Lumpur. There are around 16 positions offered, including Recruiter, Project Developer, Order Operations Specialist, IT Desktop Support Technician, Store Manager, and many more.
