It is rare to find a person who dislikes chocolate. A majority of us will never say no if we were handed a chunk of chocolate for us to savour. However, there is a debate between chocolate lovers about where one should keep his or her chocolate bar. Is it in the fridge? Or in the pantry/ cupboard?
Most of the time, as soon as we get back home from the grocers, we tend to put the chocolate bar we bought in the fridge because we don’t want it to melt, right? The thing is, after a while, the chocolate will become hard and it will be difficult for us to bite into it. Even the taste will also be slightly different.
Thanks to Cadbury Australia, we are finally given the definitive answer to where you should keep your chocolate bar. The short answer is, not in the fridge. The company was asked on Twitter about this issue and they replied with the answer that we’ve all been looking for, all this while. The company explains,
“Chocolate should always be stored in a slightly cool, dry, dark place such as cupboard or pantry at temperatures less than 21°C to ensure the quality isn’t compromised.”
