Dogs give off unconditional love to their owners and anybody who is nice to them. If you are good to them, they will be good to you too.
However, there are individuals who prefer to mistreat dogs and use them for their benefit.
Recently, two videos shared by John Gan went viral. One showing a dog being tortured as well as slaughtered by Chinese national foreign workers of a steel plant at the Malaysia-Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP).
We have chosen not to include the videos because of it’s disturbing and gory nature.
In screengrabs of the first video, you can see a few men in overalls and yellow industrial hard hats nearby a small shed.
One worker was pulling a rope tied to a black dog, and the other was pouring what seems to be water to drown the dog which was struggling.
In the end, another worker took a hammer and struck the dog’s head, causing its blood to splatter all over the ground. Haih!
Immediately after that, the workers were seen removing the dog’s hair by pouring boiling water and scraping it off.
Alliance Steel Sdn Bhd has released a statement of apology on their Facebook page:
“We are looking into the incident in a serious manner and will proceed with an internal investigation on our personnel as well as taking suitable disciplinary actions…
We will be educating more for our foreign personnel to have a better understanding towards Malaysian norms and culture and to follow our motto “In Malaysia, For Malaysia”.
They also mentioned that actions taken against the staff will be posted on their page. One wonders if it’s time for the law to step in instead.
