Following reports of the Covid-19 outbreak, many animals have been seen leaving their natural habitat and man-made cages for days in the sun and at places they don’t normally venture to. From dolphins in Italy and penguins in Chicago, the coronavirus seems to have given animals a chance to enjoy life.

On March 18th, a Facebook page posted a video of a family of (Singaporean) otters climbing up the steps out of a Singapore river. There wasn’t a large crowd of people at the time since many stayed home to fight the pandemic spread of Covid-19.

With little preying eyes, the otters swam out of the river, climbed the steps and ran amongst the trees at Merlion Park, Singapore. When they had their share of fun, they returned to the river.

Based on the footage, it was obvious the cute creatures had an amazing otters-day-out. Amidst all the darkness in the world right now, its quite pleasant to see how the many creatures that don’t have voices, have finally found some sort of solace and happiness.
