Dogs are faithful animals and they always prove to be our best friends. Sometimes, we hear stories of animal abuse, and we wonder what is wrong with the world? Why would anyone do that?
According to NST, a dog got its mouth chopped off after it wandered into a residential area in Sabah to look for food yesterday (30th July).
Witnesses said that the culprit was drunk when he committed the act and that he did it for fun. The culprit is still at large.
The dog is now in the care of an animal association in Sabah. However, the vet who treated the dog had advised them to put him to sleep because of the severity of the injury.
The Malaysian Animal Association is offering a Korean-made Daelim History S125 scooter worth RM9,500 to any individual or witness who can provide full information on the individual who chopped off the dog’s mouth.
The president of the association said the police are still investigating the incident and those with information could contact him.
“The complainant’s information will be kept confidential,” he said.
