You might not like animals, but that does not mean you can hurt them!
Sometimes when you go out for a walk, you might stumble upon some stray dogs minding their own business. Although they can be eyesores, this does not justify killing them.
As shared by SPCA Sandakan recently, a dog with her puppies in a residential area in Taman Sejati Ujana, Sandakan were given food mixed with poison.
The mummy and her four puppies were found dead while one female puppy managed to survive, but she is suffering due to the poisoning. The puppy has been brought to the local shelter for treatment.
It’s sad that recently there are more and more individuals who feel that it is alright to poison stray animals just because they want to get rid of them.
They think their acts are justified because they believe these animals don’t deserve to share spaces with them. But we should make it clear that we don’t want animal killers in our communities.
There are so many other humane ways to deal with strays. If you ever stumble upon some strays, please dig deep in your heart to help them however possible. But please don’t poison these innocent animals.
