A complaint by a foreign woman who visited Malaysia some 5 months ago caught the attention of Malaysians recently as she wrongly lambasted a Malaysia-based airline after losing her Apple Watch at Langkawi International Airport.

Furthermore, she also got mad after the Apple Watch was found by airport security because the airline didn’t mail it back to her all the way in Australia where she’s residing.

A screenshot of the woman’s comment on the airline’s social media page was shared to a public Facebook group, with many commenters amused by the woman’s misplaced anger and ‘Karen-ness’.

In the screenshot, the woman shared that she had lost her Apple Watch at Langkawi International Airport while travelling with the Malaysia-based airline.

Calling the airline the “worst airline to travel with”, she then revealed that the Apple Watch had been recovered by the airport security but after 5 months, the airline’s lost and found has yet to collect the watch and send it to her.

She asserted,

“I lost my Apple Watch at Langkawi Airport while travelling with the airline and airport security found it.

“It has been 5 months!!! Still, the airline’s lost and found have not collected my watch. Looks like I’m never getting it back.”

Malaysians gave their 2 cents on the matter

In the comments section, many Malaysians called out the foreign woman’s entitled behaviour and deduced that she had mistakenly thought that the local airline also manages airports in Malaysia.

One commenter said the airline and the company which manages Malaysian airports are not the same entity and called out the woman for blaming others for her own carelessness.

Several other commenters echoed the same sentiment, with one in particular questioning why the woman didn’t just personally go to Langkawi to collect the Apple Watch.

Besides that, one commenter was dumbfounded as to why the woman was blaming the airline for something that happened inside the airport, more so given it’s due to her own carelessness.
