Sometimes, it’s those who love us most that understand us the best. Take the case of Jyeristia Enmenia, who posted a touching tribute to her boyfriend on Twitter and it has made headlines for her sweet story. According to mStar, Jyeristia shares how she has always suffered from low self-esteem.

In her post, she wrote,
“I always say I’m not beautiful. I lack self-confidence and feel self-conscious when I see people who are more beautiful. My boyfriend did not like hearing me say that about myself, he said he wanted me to believe in myself.”
She also shared how her 22-year-old beau Daniel Zulkfili, had gone out and surprised her with makeup, a BeauTyra highlighter set, so she could feel more confident with her own beauty. Her boyfriend told her, “I want you to go out later feeling more confident with yourself” because she had always said that she is not beautiful. Reacting to her boyfriend’s sweet gesture, she said, “Look at how my boyfriend hyped me up! Tell me how could I not love him?”

“He says the present is not because I’m not beautiful, but rather he wants me to be more confident and stop feeling inferior,” Jyeristia was quoted as saying. She reveals how they’ve been dating for two years, having met on Instagram. According to her, he’s quite the star boyfriend.
“He’s like my best friend, always helping me when he can. It was what made me interested in him. My Twitter post was really to show that I appreciate his efforts,” she shared.
She had not asked him for makeup nor did she expected him to understand the products, which is why she was surprised when he managed to get the item she wanted even though it was frequently out of stock. It seems Daniel had researched and observed her social media to get a grasp on what she liked; although it would seem it’s not his first time surprising his girlfriend with his thoughtfulness.

Her tweet has gone viral, with nearly 2,000 retweets. Jyeristia also revealed how her boyfriend’s gesture has inspired other guys and they’ve even messaged her asking about the product and where they can get it for their significant other.
“I’m happy they’re looking to cheer up their girlfriends. I feel really glad when I see people wanting to make others happy,” she said.
