It’s very important to take care of your personal hygiene and that includes changing your clothes regularly!
We probably shouldn’t have to tell you these, though. This 23-year-old girl known only as Fang Fang from Wuhan, Hubei was recently hospitalised because she only changes her underwear once a month. OMG!
According to China.com, Fang Fang said that she had begun to feel unwell about two months ago but did not do anything about it at that time. About 10 days after that, she started to experience excruciating stomach pains so her friend sent her to the hospital for a check-up.
After further examination, the doctor was shocked to find that Fang Fang had pre-cancerous lesions on her vulva and quickly performed an operation on her to remove the lesions. The doctor said that this condition is more commonly seen in women who had already reached the menopausal age and is rarely seen in younger women.
However, the mystery was solved when the doctor learnt about Fang Fang’s unsanitary habits. Apparently, Fang Fang said that she had the habit of not changing her underwear for a month and she would also wear the same bra for several weeks. Remember to clean your bras frequently too girls!
AM730 reported that the reason she did this was that she was sometimes rather lazy to wash her clothes. She said, “I am a bit lazy and I rarely wash my underclothes. When I get my period I will continue wearing the same underwear for about a month and clean it with some tissue.” No girl, that’s not the way!
The doctor said that this unhygienic habit was one of the reasons that caused her to suffer from the lesions on her vulva as it came from a certain virus. Fang Fang also led an unhealthy lifestyle of staying up late, smoking and drinking, which contributed to her illness as well. The doctor warned other women to take care of their own lifestyle and hygiene to ensure that they remain healthy. Currently, Fang Fang is still waiting for the test results of the lesions.
Regardless whether you are a man or woman, we should always take care of our personal hygiene!
