In a Facebook post that began to go viral earlier this week, a Singaporean user shared his recent experience with a Grab driver that left him feeling grateful.
The user recounts in his post that he had to take a Grab to his son’s school after receiving a call informing him that his son had a fall and hit his head. While chatting with his Grab driver, he revealed that he would be rushing to the hospital right after picking up his son.
After hearing about what happened to his passenger’s son, the kind-hearted driver then offered to send him and his son straight to the hospital instead of just dropping him off at the school and leaving.
What’s more, when the passenger was grateful for the help and offered to pay him extra for the ride to the hospital, the driver refused to accept the money!
Hundreds of Facebook users were touched by this story, with the post garnering over 1,600 shares. Netizens also commended the driver’s kind deed in the comments.
It’s so great to witness random acts of kindness like this. Meanwhile, we hope the passenger’s son is making a full recovery from his injury!
