Take note, everyone! Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Sdn Bhd has announced that in an effort to be more environmental-friendly, they will be going paperless. This means that they want customers to convert to their e-Bill service by June 2020 or there will be an RM2 charge for their printed bill.

Users are encouraged to start using this service as it is more convenient to allow customers to obtain and check their sewerage account information besides being easily accessible. By choosing to go paperless, users can immediately receive notification of their new bill and also easily gain access anytime and anywhere.
IWK wants its customers to join in on this effort to go green and due to the rising cost of postage, users who still want the hard copy bill will have to pay RM2 starting from July 2020. In addition, IWK said that they will be revising its bill cycle from a four-monthly bill cycle to a six-monthly bill cycle effective January 2020 but this will only affect domestic customers including government quarters.

IWK also has a mobile app that was launched in December 2018 where customers can make a payment or check their balance conveniently. Currently, there has been more than 200,000 registration since IWK’s e-Bill service was introduced in June 2018.
