We’ve heard of irresponsible parents, but this couple takes it to the next level!
According to Nextshark, two parents from China sparked outrage among netizens when photos and videos of them leaving their own baby inside a locker went viral.
The incident reportedly happened in a public bathhouse. One video actually showed a worker helping the couple open the locker to retrieve the crying toddler who was inside.
Watch it here:
It is unclear how long the child was left in the locker. Needless to say, these photos angered Chinese netizens, who called the parents irresponsible and careless for doing such a thing to their own child.
Some even pointed out that the child could develop claustrophobia because of this traumatic incident. What’s worse, the child could have suffocated from being locked in there!
“How careless could the parents be? The child is not an object. If it’s not convenient, then don’t take the bath,” remarked one netizen.
“Are they out of their minds?!” commented another.
Despite this shocking incident inciting such strong reactions among the public, there have been no reports on whether or not the parents of the poor child will be punished by the authorities for their careless actions.
Whatever it is, we hope the parents take better care of their child from now on, because this is just unacceptable!
