“It Hurts,” Veveonah Speaks Up Following Minister’s Apology After Claiming Her Exams Were Fake
Following yesterdays (3 September) incident where a minister claimed that YouTuber, Veveonah Mosibin faked having exams during the time which she shot her most circulated video, where she stayed in a tree for 24 hours just to get internet access for an online exam, the minister has since apologised as many other students came to Veveonah’s aid.
Now, the YouTuber is speaking out, and honestly, we feel for her.
Veveonah shared the minister’s apology and stated how much she is saddened by this incident.

She wrote, “Honestly, I felt really sad and disappointed by this. I really worked hard for my online examination for the last few months and I never expected it to go viral. This time, I’m viral again but with some bad effects. I don’t know how to deal with negative and bad comments on social media, it hurts.”
And for good reason too, considering she was only trying to showcase to the rest of Malaysia how difficult it is for students living in rural areas to gain access to online education, especially considering it was during the Covid-19 lockdowns and educational institutes were closed.
“I do forgive all the mistakes that people have done to me, but I still need to make this fair statement from myself. Thank you to all that are still rooting for me and supporting me (friends, family, lecturers and fans),” she added.
Which is completely fair since she was randomly called out by an authoritative figure only for his claims to be false and (unintentionally?) malicious.
Hold your head up high, Veveonah, for your videos have put rural students on the map, allowing more opportunities to be channeled towards their well-deserving hands.
