A recent video has been making waves among netizens, especially Malaysians, after an interview asked Japanese women which Asian country has the most handsome men.
The video, shared by @girlsinterviewjapan, shows an interviewer asking Japanese women to choose the most handsome men among several countries, including Korea, China, Iran, Thailand, Bangladesh, Myanmar, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
“Malaysian men have nice facial features”
When asked to compare men from India, the Philippines, and Indonesia to those from Malaysia, both women chose Malaysia, which was a response that surprised the interviewer.
Curious about their choice, the interviewer asked why Malaysia stood out, to which one of them explained that Malaysian men have nice facial features, while the other added,
“I saw a Malaysian man on TikTok, and I thought he looked really cool.”
Netizens started flooding the comment section with their humorous responses.
“We’re handsome, just born in the wrong country, that’s all.”
“Malaysia has all kinds of races. If someone doesn’t like Malay guys, they can go for Chinese or Indian. If they’re not into Chinese looks, there’s always Indian or Malay. We’ve got options.”
“Okay guys, maybe we still have a shot. If we can’t find a partner in Malaysia, there’s always Japan.”
“Looks like I’m not ugly after all, just born in the wrong country.”
