In conjunction with His Royal Highness’s birthday yesterday (December 11), the Selangor ruler granted a royal pardon, and the release warrant was read out by Kajang Prison director, Preshahdin Monshee.

Murad was only 14 when he was detained under the Tahanan Limpah Sultan (TLS) at the Kajang Prison Drug Rehabilitation Centre.

The caption on the post said:

“During Murad’s release process earlier, you could clearly see the mix of emotions on his face as the release warrant was read out.”
