YB Khairy Jamaluddin was among 5000 participants who competed in one of the most challenging events in the country, the Ironman 70.3 Langkawi on Saturday (Oct 26).
Even though he has recently has been quiet on social media, his
fans followers still manage to stay updated on his activities and be awed by his achievement. KJ managed to endure 1.9km of swimming, 90km of bike riding and 21.1km of running in just a little over 7 hours.
Pictures of him during the event have been heavily circulated online, and many Malaysians are impressed by his feat. Whether you’re a fan or not, you gotta give it to him. It’s not easy!
This would be his second time competing in the Ironman event after his first entry was back in 2016. YB Khairy shared a photo on his Instagram of him receiving the finisher medal from his mother, Datin Seri Rahmah Abdul Hamid. He wrote,
“Everything begins and ends with your mother.”
