Are our children OK?
Where are they learning such things?
So many questions arose when a standard 5 student’s vicious voice notes sent to a poor girl for attempting to steal her BF became viral.
Listen to her angry tirade here:
Budak darjah 5 hantar voice note ugut nak tibai hari selasa sebab sailang pakwe dia… 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/YQup2LM7E0

The 10 episode ‘podcast’ (if you may call it), began with the fifth ‘podcast’ on the list which says,
“Are you complaining sayang? Pity you.”
“If you dare, let’s meet face to face.”
“You probably didn’t get enough affection. That’s why you’re stealing other people’s BF. How sad!”
“What’s with the blue ticks? If you dare to touch my boyfriend, then you should be brave enough to face me.”
The notes ended with the ‘gangster’ threatening to beat the girl up come Tuesday if she did not respond to the girl’s barrage.
Epic! And frankly worrying.
Netizens, however, found the mini-gangster threats amusing and compared the girl’s love triangle at 11-years-old to what they did back at the same age.
One wrote, “When I was in the fifth grade I was busy riding my bicycle and was lucky to not end up in an accident with a car.”
Another wrote, “I realise how innocent I was in the fifth grade, up to a point where I refused to utter ‘stupid’ in fear of sin.”
In response, another netizen replies, “The worse thing I ever said is ‘Aku sumpah hang jadi gajah’.” (I’ll put a curse on you so that you turn into an elephant).
Despite all the hilarious responses, the threats raised by the sender should be given attention because it is a form of bullying.
We don’t want to let these incidents go unchecked, Malaysia does not need any more tragedies.
