Malaysia Ranks 8th Among Southeast Asian Countries in Experiencing Workplace Anger

Feeling angry is totally normal and part of being human. It can come from all sorts of things like tough situations we face every day, things that happened to us in the past, or even stuff going on in the world around us.

We’re back at it again, Malaysia has made its mark in the Southeast Asia rankings once more. This time, Malaysia secured the 8th spot out of 9 Southeast Asian countries in terms of daily anger levels.

Malaysia experiences relatively lower anger levels

According to a ranking by Seasia Stats, Malaysia secured the 8th spot among 9 Southeast Asian countries in terms of daily anger levels, with only 16% of respondents admitting to experiencing anger in the workplace.

It was also reported that our country has one of the lowest levels of daily anger compared to other Southeast Asian countries.

Among Southeast Asian countries, Laos reported the highest level of anger during work, with 33% of respondents indicating so.

The stress level rankings reveal that Myanmar takes the 2nd spot, with 28% of its population reporting stress. Following closely behind are the Philippines at 23%, Indonesia at 22%, and Cambodia also reporting a stress level of 22%.

However, Singapore is much lower in the rankings compared to Malaysia with only 15% of its people say they feel angry, putting it in 9th place on the list.
