Our frontliners have worked tirelessly without day and night to help fight this war against an invisible army of the virus, Covid-19. Malaysians who are aware of this have tried their best to supply them with food, applause, etc. But there are still those living among us that are ungrateful to their sacrifice.
Enter the elite cluster, also known as the fussy cluster. According to Awani, some of the members of this cluster may be a little arrogant, impatient and generally have bad attitude. This was told by a few frontliners based in the Sungai Buloh Hospital to some Malaysian local portals.
According to one frontliner, some of these people came back from overseas after their vacation or after an official task/work. They proudly upload pictures and videos of themselves overseas during the pandemic and boast about not contracting Covid-19.
When these people were required to go for the Covid-19 test after returning to Malaysia, they lose their heads as they do not get first-class treatment and have to follow instructions at the testing centres. These impatient people demand the tests to be done without following the rules and protocol and when they were denied of that, they start calling the frontliners names and cussed at them.
A few frontliners have also compared this elite cluster with the tabligh cluster and have said that the latter is more cooperative, helpful and mannerly.
We definitely hope that everyone will be more considerate of the frontliners as they are just trying to do their job. Negative energy/ attitude is not needed now, our job right now is just to stay at home!
