Over the past couple of weeks, McDonald’s Spicy Ayam Goreng has been taking the nation by storm, thanks to its insanely viral advertisements that continues to dominate social media.
It looks like a lot of Malaysians couldn’t resist the temptation of the highly popular dish and have been joining long queues at their local McDonald’s outlets just to get their hands on the delectable, crunchy fried chicken.
However, it appears that the Spicy Ayam Goreng has become so popular that it’s gone out of stock!
McDonald’s Malaysia took to their Facebook page yesterday (2nd April) to announce that the chicken will not be available from Monday to Thursday (3rd to 6th April).
This post, needless to say, went viral with 5,900 reactions and over 1,700 shares.
Of course, some Malaysian netizens were certainly not pleased with this announcement and had some choice words for the popular fast food franchise.
Seriously, where are we going to get our McD fried chicken fix now???
Others however, found the funny side of things, wondering why this dish became so famous since it’s already been around for some time.
Some even counted their blessings that they were able to eat the chicken before it went out of stock!
Well, the good news is that the famous Spicy Ayam Goreng won’t be gone for long, as McDonald’s have stated that the dish will return this Friday (7th April).
So if you’re craving for some fried chicken from McD, be sure to visit them after 6th April!
We can’t wait to get our hands on the next round of spicy chicken!
