Previously, we shared how Thailand extended the suspension of the arrival and departure card requirement for foreign travellers who enter the country via 16 land and sea checkpoints until 30 April 2025, which itself was a continuation of the suspension from 15 April to 15 October 2024.
Now, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Thailand has announced that there won’t be any extension for the suspension past 30 April 2025 and instead, a digital version of the arrival and departure card, known as the Tor Mor 6 (T.M.6) form, will be implemented for all foreign arrivals by air, land and sea starting 1 May 2025.

As reported by the Thailand-based publication Bangkok Post, Ministry of Tourism and Sports Thailand permanent secretary Natthriya Thaweevong announced that the digital version will replace the current paper-based one.
She added that the online form is expected to help track tourists while they are in Thailand, thus increasing confidence in Thailand’s safety as it combats recent negative perceptions by foreign tourists.

Meanwhile, the Ministry’s deputy permanent secretary, Mongkon Wimonrat, asserted that the Thai Government would prioritise the digital T.M.6 card before adopting other types of entry screening to prevent confusion among tourists.
The online T.M.6 card will be a free online form and is compulsory for all foreign arrivals by air, land and sea.
