Guys, our education minister, Dr Maszlee Malik wants our help to reform the Malaysian Education system!
We know that our education system is not up-to-par with other education systems around the world because it’s rather stale and outdated. Hence, working towards the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025, our beloved education minister had requested Malaysians to pour out their thoughts and ideas that can help improve the Malaysian education system. Time to hustle for a better education!
After being flooded with comments on his Facebook page, Dr Maszlee’s team has now set up an online form for Malaysians to weigh in on techniques to improve our education system, reported Malaysiakini.
The post reads;
“Since there are so many suggestions being shared in the comments and messages on Maszlee’s Facebook, we have started an initiative to make it easier for the public to voice their suggestions or issues.”
Thus, this Google form allows every Malaysian to write in their complaints or suggestions, which will later be presented to Maszlee for consideration.
Do keep in mind to provide workable and logical solutions that will help our minister improve the education system!
Earlier, after being selected as education minister, Maszlee received a lot of negative criticism for his Islamic education background. Seriously, guys, just let it go.
However, in an interview with Malaysiakini, Maszlee spoke about his desire to improve the existing system through consultation. He’s a progressive and smart man!
“I am not here to impose regimentation or rulings on schools.”
“Whatever school streams that we have, my vision is to try and connect them, to bridge them with one another.”
“We want to celebrate our differences, we want to make it as a strength rather than as a weakness, and make it a unifying factor rather than a dividing factor,” he said.
Therefore, since the Ministry of Education is eager to hear from us, let us all do our best to help them by filling out this Google form they had created for our complaints and suggestions. Hopefully, Maszlee will take our feedback into account, and use it to move towards realising the goals set in the education blueprint.
