Many of us are awaiting the official report on whether or not the Covid-19 Movement Control Order (MCO) will be extended after the 14th of April, considering the date will mark the one month anniversary of the nation staying indoors.

Though, as much as we’re unsure as to whether we will continue to stay at home, we’re sure of one thing.

Our Defense Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, has announced that even if the MCO ends, people will still be disallowed to organise or attend large gatherings, as he mentions in a press conference showcased on Bernama TV.

He mentions that there will be certain standards of procedures that the nation will have to follow if the MCO is ceased in order to avoid more breakouts of the coronavirus until the authorities are sure that they’ve completely eradicated the virus from our shores.

“Even if the MCO is terminated, the people cannot have their usual freedom, certain standards of procedures will have to be adhered to. For example, no large gatherings will be allowed despite if the MCO ends. If there are suggestions to have convocations and so forth, we will still not allow it,” he insisted.

“All activities that gather large groups of people at one time will not be allowed,” he added.

It’s only fair that we follow the authorities advice, instructions and regulations as it’s best we don’t take any chances or risks when it comes to such a deadly virus.

Hence, be prepared for stricter governing until the Covid-19 virus is completely killed off.
