In addition to Cambodia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through other Malaysian Embassies is intensifying efforts to rescue Malaysian citizens who have become victims of this syndicate in Laos, Myanmar and Thailand.

Based on the records of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the statistics of syndicate victims show that the number of people who have been successfully rescued are 16 in Thailand, 27 in Laos and 5 in Myanmar.
