UOW Malaysia KDU takes the audience behind the veil of campus life, a sneak-peek into the lives of twelve students and what it takes for them to follow their dreams.
1 Impian, translated as ‘one dream,’ follows the journey of 12 teenagers from UOW Malaysia KDU. 12 students, 12 strangers from different faculties must come together and work together to complete the performance of their lives.
The students must learn how to help one another to achieve their dreams while individually desiring to reach for their dreams. Instead of competing with one another to get to the top, the web series uncovers how they learn to come together, learn empathy, grow in leadership, and learning to complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. But will they succeed in putting out the most fantastic show of their graduation?

Amy Teo, one of the Entertainment Arts students, said, “I wasn’t born to be an Actress. I just realised that I am in control of what I want and what I value in my life. We all started from zero since we were born into this world to create our own life, and working on this ‘1 Impian’ Webseries project helped me to realise my true potential as an entertainment artiste.”
Jiah Chi, another Entertainment Arts Student, reflected on being part of this project said, “Grateful to have the opportunity to work with professional production. From the creation of the script to the straight-to-point directing. And the editing is magical. #Feeling blessed.”
