Parents are often seen as their kids’ biggest supporters. They celebrate their children’s successes, comfort them when things get tough, and put in a lot of time and effort to help them be their best. And this dad perfectly demonstrates how parents show their support.
In a recent story shared by @annilravin, he gives us a heartwarming glimpse of his dad proudly showing love and support for him to their relatives at a home in Singapore.
Proud dad moment right there
In the video, the father proudly shows his relatives videos of his son’s cooking content, which he uploads to social media, even though they didn’t ask about it.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Annil revealed that he currently runs a successful catering business with his family, and his content mostly revolves around demonstrating cooking techniques to his audience.
His dad is a Malaysian!
Annil explained that although they currently live in Singapore, his dad is originally from Malaysia. He shared how his dad has always supported him in every endeavor he’s pursued.
Annil revealed that his dad has worked at the same company for over 40 years and never pressured him to get a 9-to-5 job.
“My dad always saw my talent as something special and allowed me to march to my own beat so I could do what I love,” Annil said.
His dad’s unwavering support has shaped him into the person he is today!
Annil mentioned that in the past, whenever his parents showed his cooking videos to relatives, he found it cringeworthy and felt shy about it.
However, over time, Annil came to understand and appreciate why his parents did this, which is to express their love and support for him in everything he does.
“I used to cringe when my parents played my content to their friends and relatives, but now I see the love behind it.”
Annil concluded the conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ with a heartfelt message to his dad saying,
“Dear Dad, you have a heart of gold. Your kindness, love, and generosity never cease to amaze me. I’m incredibly grateful for everything you do and for the wonderful person you are. Thank you for being the best dad anyone could ask for.”
