As a food operator, what do you do when customers dislike your food and provide honest feedback? Malaysian businessman, commonly known as Prince Syed, brought the matter to the police’s attention after receiving negative feedback about his Laksa.

The unpleasant comments were left on Prince Syed’s social media post about his Laksa business in Langkawi, but the post has since been removed. In a recent Facebook post, Prince Syed and his wife revealed that they have lodged a police report about the matter at the Langkawi Police Station to clear their name.

“The purpose of this report is to refute the allegations and accusations against us and our businesses. We are also not happy with the abusive languages that were directed toward us.”

Syed explained in the video that the purpose of making the report was to clear his name.

“We apologize and seek forgiveness from all the people of Langkawi for our presence here. To those who posted videos and mentioned our names without knowing the full story, we would actually be happy to meet and explain what happened.”

Earlier, many netizens commented on the now-deleted post by Prince Syed and said his Laksa wasn’t as good as the ones that were sold at the place.

Syed added that he didn’t want to prolong the matter as it might hurt his relationship with existing customers and suppliers.

Syed also said that he would leave Langkawi immediately and thanked the people there for giving him and his wife the space to run his Laksa business at an event.

In the meantime, PDRM in Langkawi also confirmed that they have received an official report from the businessman regarding the matter.
