Taking to TikTok, netizen @daydayeric shared a video highlighting how inconsiderate some parents at a private school can be, driving against traffic just to avoid jams while picking up their children.

Garnering over 6.4 million views, the video showcases a shocking collection of selfish drivers and their expensive vehicles.

To put things into perspective, this is the second video shared by the netizen, now featuring long honks, an addition inspired by suggestions from viewers of the first video.

It’s understood that such incidents are a common sight in Bandar Mahkota Cheras.

“Many people skip the traffic jam by driving against traffic on the opposite lane before reaching a traffic stop. Things are even worse on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. When it rains, the traffic doubles.”

Taking the initiative to confront the issue, the netizen honks aggressively while maneuvering through the busy Bandar Mahkota Cheras road, hoping to discourage the reckless behaviour. Although some drivers initially refused to budge, they eventually gave way, thanks to the netizen’s persistence.

With netizens now calling for authorities to take action, many hope the situation will improve in the near future.
