The year 2017 is ending soon and most of us are still nowhere close to achieving our new year’s resolution, but not for this guy.
A Malaysian netizen recently made waves on social media after posting his incredible before-after transformation on a Facebook page with the caption, “Transformation in 15 months, is it significant enough?”
Well, we’ll let you be the judge.
So, how did he manage to pull it off in such a short time?
For the past 15 months, Skyjin has been hitting the gym relentlessly six days a week and three hours a day to burn off the stubborn fat in order for his six-pack to be revealed.
While most would give up in the first 3 months, Skyjin managed to pull through as he was committed to losing the extra weight and packing on slabs of rock-solid muscle. He would always drag his ass to the gym no matter how tired he was, because gym for life!
All his hard work in the gym would’ve gone down the drain though if he didn’t eat clean and practise self-control. Which is why most of his meals are high in protein and super low in carbs and fats. #eatclean
Based on his meal plans, it’s obvious that he gets most of his source of protein from chicken breast. Yes, they don’t look nearly as delicious as your double-cheese burger but just look at him now…
Also, he even cut out rice from his diet and switched to complex carbs such as oats to refuel his body since it keeps him fuller for longer. I wonder how long he took to go through a pack…
Besides that, he also indulges in a good sugar-free black coffee, which helps boost his metabolism and get him through the day.
While most gym rats tend to deviate from their diet when eating out at restaurants, Skyjin maintained a strong will power. Even when lepaking with friends, he’d consciously choose his food to fit his protein and calorie intake, which means he goes heavy on meat. No excuses!
Admittedly, eating tons of meat at restaurants can burn a hole in one’s wallet. So Skyjim would usually prep his breakfast at home and bring it to work. That way, he can save himself a couple of bucks while avoiding temptations such as nasi lemak and roti canai!
After countless hours grinding in the gym, his hard work began to pay off when his pants size dropped from 48 to 36 inches. That’s impressive! Kipidap!
He even took part in a bodybuilding competition as well!
Skyjin’s incredible transformation journey is clearly nothing short of inspiring and motivating. He has proven that it’s possible to get in shape no matter your size, even for a big guy like he used to be.
So guys, now that you know most of his secrets, gym mou?
