As TikTok users go all crazy for the Wipe It Down Challenge – where thanks to a little editing, a swipe of the mirror will result in a whole new look, the idea behind it is simple.
The video begins with one person with their normal everyday look. They then take a swipe at the mirror and BAM! Changes into a whole new look altogether.
Adopting this new craze as part of his marketing, Datuk Wira Dr Hj Ameer Ali Bin Mydin, the owner of Mydin took it upon him to turn the TikTok craze into a marketing gig.
Here is a video of the Mydin man himself taking a swipe at the Wipe It Down Challenge.
Shared on @mydinmalaysia, the acting was supplemented with some genius marketing as he promoted some of the products he had on sale in his store.
Items such as laundry detergent and baby shampoo were promoted as Datuk Ameer donned a Mydin uniform as part of his performance.
Pretty clever eh?
