Recently, some Malaysians shared a ‘hack’ on MySejahtera that will allow people to get vaccinated fast. This ‘hack’ soon went viral and many people followed it in hopes that they will get their appointments faster.

However, The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said that the ‘hack’ is fake news and Malaysians should not use it as it is drowning out the complaints from people with legitimate issues.
JKJAV then reassured Malaysians that appointments will be given on a stage by stage basis automatically and there is no need to use the HelpDesk for this. They stressed that there is no shortcut to getting vaccination appointments.
Taking to the comments, many netizens have expressed their dissatisfaction.
“Please give the vaccines quickly. Everyone is waiting for it. There is no progress for many appointments and that’s why the people are mad.”
“A lot of people want the vaccine but it is going at a snail’s pace. That’s why the people are mad.”
The statistics from JKJAV‘s website shows Kuala Lumpur as the state with the most people who have had their first dose. Other states such as Sarawak, Putrajaya and Labuan show a high percentage of people who have had their first dose as well.
