A Perodua Myvi was caught on video switching lanes abruptly and crashing into a motorcyclist in a hit-and-run accident.
According to the Facebook page Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS, the incident happened at Jalan Sungai Besi opposite the Toyota/Lexus showroom on 1 June at about 8.57am.
The video shows several vehicles approaching a split in the road. At this point in time, a white Myvi that’s about to enter the right side of the divider suddenly decides to swerve to the left, not knowing that a motorcycle was in its way.
The Myvi then crashes into the motorcyclist and drives away without hesitation.
The motorcyclist can be seen lying motionless on the ground as other motorists come to his aid.
It is uncertain if the motorcyclist suffered any severe injuries as further information about this incident has not been made available at the time of writing. We hope the authorities will take notice of this and track down the Myvi driver for their recklessness.
