With the recent implementation of a certain education policy, there are a lot of reactions from various people.
Following the outrage due to the implementation of Jawi writing lessons in vernacular schools, a CEO (also a Tan Sri) of a renowned company allegedly changed the colour of the white stripes in the Jalur Gemilang to black, reported Utusan.
He posted the picture of the flag on his Facebook page and it gained viral attention because netizens were angry about it. Some called the act as rude and disrespectful towards the Malaysian flag.

In the post, the Tan Sri said that the black stripes are inspired by the black school shoe implementation which was introduced by the Ministry of Education (MOE).
“Inspired by the white shoe to black shoe,” he wrote. “Changing the Jalur Gemilang white stripes to black stripes.”
The Tan Sri’s post also said that this could possibly be the next upcoming project to be introduced by the Ministry of Education after the Jawi lesson implementation became a priority instead of “Tangkap Jho Low” and “Najibs Charges.”

The post has since been deleted and he then shared a link of an article he wrote about his thoughts on the “Khat Issue”.
“I have written an article on my views and maybe you would share the same sentiments too,” he added.
After the post was deleted, netizens left a lot of comments on the Tan Sri’s Facebook page to show their displeasure.
“Aik, it’s deleted, how rude. think he’s so ‘langsi’ is it?,” one netizen wrote.
“Revoke his Tan Sri title,” another netizen commented.
Even if some people are not pleased with the recent implementation, defacing our country’s flag is definitely not the right way to go about it.
