The notorious German beggar who has gone viral on social media for using his ill-gotten gains to live a lavish lifestyle has been spotted begging in Kuala Lumpur AGAIN.
He also regularly posts about his partying habits on social media.

The Star reported that he made his appearance in Kuala Lumpur and Penang in early March but had left the country for a vacation in Vietnam on 15 March.
After his trip, he was reported to have come back to Malaysia again this week.
The 32-year-old professional beggar was spotted panhandling on Jalan Dewan Bahasa Pustaka. His trick was to beg money from motorists who stopped at the traffic light.
He ultimately used his swollen leg to gain sympathy from kind-hearted citizens while splurging his gains on “dirty” activities.

Adrian Lai, a writer saw Holst and told the Star,
“He was walking from car to car with a paper cup, begging. People were winding down their car windows and generously donating to him. Drivers were even gesturing for him to come over so they could give him money.”
Holst was causing traffic congestion and was a safety hazard at the traffic light as many motorists wanted to give him money.
“I wanted to go on my way when the traffic light turned green but several cars had stopped by the side of the road for him. One van abruptly swerved to the right lane to get to Holst,” said Lai.
Holst is exploiting his disability, a rare form of localised gigantism called Macrodystrophia lipomatosa that has caused his left leg to be severely swollen to prey on the public’s sympathy, but they did not know that they were actually funding his luxury partying lifestyle.

I mean seriously, a beggar who can travel across several countries and still have the money to party??
But criminal defence lawyer Farhan Read says that Holst’s panhandling is an offence under the Minor Offences Act.
“If convicted, he would be liable to the normal penalties under the Act. However he would not be automatically deported if found guilty. That is up to the discretion of the Director-General of Immigration,” said Farhan.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Rusdi Mohd Isa said the police are looking into the issue.
According to Holst posts, he will be returning to Thailand after he is done with Malaysia.
So everybody, please do not give this man money. Let’s hope nobody else falls victim to his begging scam!
