It was a heartbreaking sight when a husband wept looking at the body of his wife who died in the middle of the road.
The young mother who just gave birth seven months ago was killed by a lorry in an accident that took place in Kulim, Kedah at 1.30pm on Wednesday (17 September).
The victim’s husband just happened to pass by the incident area and when he saw who was lying on the road, he immediately ran to his wife’s body and hugged her while crying.
Kulim District Police Chief, Superintendent Azhar Hashim said that the victim identified as Nur Almass Zasmi, 23, was riding a Modenas Kriss motorcycle from the direction of Serdang to Sungai Ular while a trailer was coming from the opposite direction, reported Astro Awani.
