They wrote, “We are writing with good news that ALL staff at Trinity Kids, The LINC KL branch (second degree) test negative (SARS CoV-2 PCR Assay for Novel Corona Virus 19). MOH requires persons in close contact with a positive patient (first degree) to be tested. We have taken extra precaution to test all staff at The LINC KL branch (second degree) and disinfected the premise.”

“We are still awaiting the results of the child and the other parent (first degree, direct contact with positive patient). Currently, the child and the other parent are staying home after testing and remain healthy. As you can imagine, they are very anxious as well as worried for their positive family member. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts,” they added.

Earlier today, The LINC KL took to their Instagram page to release a statement regarding the case discovered at the branch located in the mall.

They wrote, “The Linc Development Sdn Bhd wishes to inform that a parent of a child at Trinity Kids, The Linc KL branch has just tested Covid-19 positive. The said child is on a half-day program until noon and last attended school on Thursday, 17 September.”

They also shared the steps they are taking to ensure that the risk of exposure is taken care of.

“We have taken all necessary preventive measures to contain the risk of exposure to our customers, staff and tenants. Our immediate actions include disinfection of all common areas of The Linc KL by a professional disinfectant company.”
