The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have asked the individuals involved in an altercation at a petrol station, which has gone viral, to come forward to assist in the investigation into the matter.
According to a report by Harian Metro, Deputy Seremban District Police Chief, Superintendent Muhd Yazid Anuar, said that, for now, his department has yet to receive any reports in regards to this incident.
“To date, no police reports have been received regarding this incident. If a crime has occurred, the individuals involved in the incident are asked to come forward and lodge a report. The police are also not sure what happened because the video was only recorded at the end of the incident,” he explained.
A viral video
Prior to this, a video had gone viral online, showing a Mitsubishi Triton that had suffered damage to its front while at a petrol station.
The recording then showed a man, believed to be the owner of the Mitsubishi Triton, arguing with another individual before they started grabbing each other’s shirts.
The other individual, believed to be a foreigner, then fled towards a Proton X50 before driving away with the car’s boot wide open. The X50 apparently also drove against traffic while the Mitsubishi Triton chased behind.
The video’s caption also alleged that a group of foreigners riding in the Proton X50 had stolen the Mitsubishi Triton owner’s money.
