Acting Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad, said officers spotted the effigy near the National Mosque and have recorded video evidence of the incident.

He also stressed that flying drones during the rally was not permitted.

“As we’ve said before, if there’s any misconduct or violation of the law under any act, we will take action. So far, four police reports have been lodged in connection with the rally.”

“One involves the effigy resembling the Prime Minister and is being investigated by the Classified Criminal Investigation Unit (USJT). The other three, which involve drone activity, have been referred to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM),” he said.

Additionally, he noted that, as of now, police have not received any reports related to the alleged distribution of extremist-themed pamphlets during the rally.

“There have been no police reports so far. But if any are filed, we’ll investigate,” he added.

Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail, said that all security measures during the rally were carried out professionally and ethically.

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) also conducted thorough monitoring and crowd control to ensure the event ran smoothly across several key locations, including the National Mosque, Sogo shopping centre, Masjid Jamek, Pasar Seni, and Dataran Merdeka.
