With the haze gone, the air is now flooded with speculation behind the reason as to why the disgruntled man who was working in the B.Braun Factory in Penang slashed his colleagues with parangs, causing one lady’s death.

Reports have stated that he had previously suffered from depression and spent most of his time alone, whereas some netizens are speculating that it could be because of other reasons.

Howeverm the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has since released a statement to remind the general public not to share and spread theories as all of which are considered speculation that may not be true or valid.

“There are many assumptions and speculations about the incident. Hence, I’d like to ask the public to stop spreading false and inaccurate information, which is not confirmed by the police as it interferes with our ongoing investigations,” shared Penang Island Chief of Police, Datuk T Narenasagaran as according to Astro Awani.

The authorities have currently taken the statement’s of the attacker’s family, housemates, and ex-colleagues.

Either way, the attacker was clearly a disturbed man and the police managed to stop him before he managed to take any more lives, and we thank them for that.

We’d like to send our deepest condolences to the victim’s family.
