Penang ADUN Shares Behind-The-Scenes WFH Photos All M’sian Parents Can Relate To
The struggle is real!
With the enforcement of another nationwide Movement Control Order (MCO), most of us are confined to our homes yet again. That means that a majority of us have returned to working from home again too, that is, if you’re not already doing so.
For parents, working from home could be extra challenging with having to juggle between doing work and taking care of your children. Well, nothing exemplifies it more than this photo shared by the ADUN for Machang Bubuk, Lee Khai Loon of him taking care of his toddler during a Zoom meeting.
OMG so adorable!
What makes the photo even more hilarious is that the Zoom meeting was actually an online meeting with the Penang State Government. Here’s a screenshot of the meeting with other unsuspecting ADUNs and MPs who didn’t know what he was dealing with in the background:
The funniest thing about this screenshot is that Khai Loon looked as if he was wearing the most professional attire amongst all the Zoom participants! Well, if only they knew he was wearing shorts the whole time 😛
As shared by Khai Loon on Facebook, the meeting was to discuss the allocation of funds for the maintenance of schools in the state of Penang. As with the rest of the country, face to face meetings are barred during this MCO 2.0, even amongst government officials.
Besides showing a behind-the-scenes photo of the Zoom meeting, Khai Loon also shared his exploits at home during this MCO 2.0 including cooking chicken curry on the first day of its enforcement.

On another post, Khai Loon also shared how he did the dishes first before starting a Facebook Live programme with MP for Bukit Mertajam, Steven Sim,

Well, based on this post and a screenshot of the programme that he hosted with Steven Sim below, it seems that Khai Loon has the same go-to attire as most of us Malaysian men when we’re working from home: formal shirts with shorts.
Well, with all the flak Malaysian politicians have been receiving lately, sometimes we tend to forget that they are humans too and Lee Khai Loon’s behind-the-scenes photos is a reminder of just that.
How have you guys been coping with the latest enforcement of MCO? For those of you working from home, what are some struggles you’ve been facing? Share your experience with us in the comments!
