Penang Motorcyclist Loudly Revs Engine in Public, Immediately Gets Stopped by Patrolling PDRM Officers

A video of a motorcyclist in Penang went viral recently after the man was seen immediately being stopped by patrolling Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers mere seconds after moving from his parking spot.

Earlier, the motorcyclist can be seen and heard loudly revving up his vehicle’s engine while it was in neutral gear, with plenty of smoke coming out of the exhaust.

Shared by the Facebook page Inforoadblock, the video has garnered over 11,000 views as of the time of writing, with many commenters amused by the motorcyclist’s instant karma.

While the location was not disclosed in the video, it is believed that the incident happened in Padang Kota Lama, Penang based on the iconic City Hall building in the background.

In the video, the man can be seen being immediately told to pull over by a patrolling PDRM officer, before another two policemen arrive on the scene.

During the whole ordeal, the voices of the individuals who recorded the incident can be heard making fun of the motorcyclist for what has transpired.

The aftermath of the incident and whether the motorcyclists faced any action by the police are unknown as it was never revealed in the post.

In case you didn’t know, modifying a vehicle’s exhaust to the point of disturbing public peace and causing a nuisance is an offence under Section 103 under the Vehicle Regulation Act (Manufacture and Use) 1959 LN 170/1959, with offenders facing up to RM2,000 fine and up to 6-month imprisonment.
