Blackpink has just finished their 2-day concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan during the weekend (March 18 & 19). 2 Malaysian influencers were also among the crowd at the concert in Taiwan, and they had something to say about the comparison of the shows in Taiwan and Malaysia.

“Everyone was standing on both days. Seriously?”

The couple, Chang Yong and Shu Sen shared some snippets of Blackpink’s concert in Taiwan, and the couple made it clear that the show in Malaysia was much better in Malaysia. But don’t get it wrong, it had nothing to do with the South Korean performers but it was rather about the audience.

Chang was informed that the concertgoers at Blackpink’s show in Taiwan ignored the call from others who asked them to remain seated during the show. This was because the visitors had blocked the view of those who were seated, and that was exactly what Chang and Shu experienced on the 1st day.

“If I experience the same thing tomorrow, I’m going mad. I apologise in advance,” Chang joked on his Instagram story.

Did the couple manage to get a better experience on the 2nd day of the show? For Chu, that was a no.

“We had to stand during the show too as we had no choice. What were the workers at the concert doing at the side?” Chang asked in another Instagram story.

This was when Chang & Shu started to “miss home” and they couldn’t help but praise the Malaysian concertgoers in Bukit Jalil a couple of weeks back during Blackpink’s show. Shu couldn’t deny that the stage in Taiwan was much better, but the experience was ruined by the audience who stood up during the show.

“If they remain seated during the show, they could still take good pictures of the show. There was no need to stand up.”

Chu then continued to praise Malaysian viewers back at home, and said,

“Malaysian concertgoers in Bukit Jalil were so good! Regardless of the time, they remain seated and only lift their hands up, and they stood up only when Jennie asked the audience to stand up.”

Despite the unsatisfactory experience, Chang admitted that the experience on the 2nd day was generally better than the 1st day in Taiwan.

“We were still happy that we got to see Blackpink!”

Sometimes, the behaviour of the crowd does matter, especially when some of them can potentially ruin or make our experience better. To those who attended the Blackpink concert in Bukit Jalil, what do you think of the performance?
